Kung Fu Wushu Tasmania is recognised by the Tasmanian State Government as the official representative association for Chinese martial arts (kung Fu, wushu, tai chi) in Tasmania.
The Association has amalgamated with other State and Territory Associations to form Kung Fu Wushu Australia, or KWA. KWA was incorporated in 2010 and is the National Sporting Organisation for Kung Fu Wushu
